Important Information for Our Clients:
Health Concerns
While making your appointment, please inform us of the following conditions and if you are currently under a doctor's care for any of the following:

Any Malignancies
Heart Conditions
Circulatory Conditions
Lymphatic or Vascular concerns or conditions
Recent Injury
Recent Surgery
Inflammation that is not resolving
High Risk Pregnancy

Illnesses
Because we are a learning facility and operated by students, we sometimes neglect to make correct hygiene and safety judgments. It is for this reason that we do not work on any person who has HIV/AIDS, and/or Hepatitis C. Please inform us if this is your situation and we will provide you with contact information for local facilities that are able to offer you massage services.

Multiple Appointments
In order to provide the students with a wider variety of first-hand learning experience associated with clients' various injuries, body types, and personalities, we ask that you do not book massages repeatedly (consecutively for several weeks or months) with the same student.

What About Tipping?
While nothing is expected, tips are very much appreciated. Please give your tip to the receptionist and we will record it, notify the student of your generosity, and apply it toward their tuition.

Student Work-Off Program
AiCM offers students a unique opportunity to "work off" their tuition through participating in our Student Clinic. Money collected for each massage, minus a minimal supply fee, is credited towards the students' tuition. For patrons who wish to tip a student, we request that all tips be paid to the receptionist at the time you are paying for your massage. We record the tip, notify the student of your generosity, and apply it towards their tuition.

Through this program we are able to benefit our students and our community. Students achieve a new career without loans, fees, or paying interest, and our patrons receive very affordable massages.

Do you have to remove clothing?
Many people are concerned about having to remove all or most of their clothing for a massage, especially if this is their first experience. AiCM is licensed by Washington State; therefore our draping requirements are very strict. You will be covered at all times by a flat sheet, and a blanket and/or bath towel. Most clients dress down to their underwear, however if you feel more comfortable in a bathing suit or shorts then that is completely acceptable. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed during the entire massage experience.
